Job summary

Harley Ellis Devereaux (HED) is seeking a Project Manager to lead Higher Education and Science & Technology projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and oversee scope, schedules, and budgets from planning through construction.

The role emphasizes experience in healthcare projects, design excellence, and a collaborative, hybrid work environment where autonomy and teamwork are balanced to deliver complex facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Interior Design is required.
• Professional licensure is required.
• 8+ years post-graduate professional experience in the A/E industry.
• At least 3 years as an A/E or client-side PM with financial and risk responsibilities.
• 5+ years of healthcare project experience.
• Deep knowledge of all phases of A/E services from marketing to close-out.
• Strong coordination across multiple design disciplines.
• Leadership, mentoring, and teamwork under deadlines.
• Proactive, self-motivated and adaptable with a strategic outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support principal in marketing efforts and owner negotiations.
• Prepare contracts for owners and consultants; monitor adherence.
• Develop, implement, and monitor project plans and strategies.
• Lead multidisciplinary A/E teams and interface with clients, contractors, and authorities.
• Manage overall schedule and short-term milestones with the project team.
• Establish discipline hour budgets and staffing to meet profit goals.
• Ensure adherence to the HED Project Design Process and coordinate design reviews.
• Collaborate with Operations and Business Leaders on metrics and goals.
