Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC. is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for heavy civil construction in the Nashville area. You will manage civil projects from concept to completion, leading field teams, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring safety, schedule, and budget targets.

Responsibilities include site planning, permit coordination, reviewing plans, and driving on-time, on-budget delivery with a focus on quality and compliance across all phases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil project management experience.
• Ability to read grading and utility plans, specs, and geotechnical data.
• Knowledge of earthwork equipment and site utilities.
• Strong safety knowledge and OSHA guidelines.
• Strong math and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to lead diverse crews.

Responsibilities

• Attend client and subcontractor meetings to capture project requirements.
• Compare budgets and bid documents for alignment.
• Develop site-specific project plans.
• Inspect shop drawings, manufacturing, and installations per design.
• Lead subcontractors and supervise on-site activities.
• Ensure permits and licenses are obtained.
• Develop and manage overall project schedule.
• Anticipate problems and proactively solve them.
• Understand quantity take-offs and evaluate cut/fill.
• Lead Field Supervisors on projects.
