Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business strongly preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, additional work experience acceptable.
• Has successfully acquired and/or contacted at least one new client.
• Ability to execute multiple project management efforts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintains adherence to safety standards and company policies.
• Ensures all job processes follow HITT policies.
• Negotiates terms and conditions of contracts with clients.
• Monitors progress of each project with updated schedules.
• Ensures the Project Quality Control Plan is followed.
• Assists that project staff in resolving scope problems with subcontractors.
• Manages assignment and evaluation of field personnel within the project team and company.
• Identifies and negotiates time extensions where justified.
• Acquires new work and maintains existing clients.
• Maintains positive relationships with subcontractors and ensures timely closeout.
• Leads preconstruction and RFP package efforts with Preconstruction Dept.
• Delegates responsibility to ensure project tasks run smoothly.
