Job summary

GFT is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Geotechnical, Dams, and Hydraulics Team in Roseville, California. The role follows a hybrid work model with regular office attendance in Roseville.

You will lead design and technical work for public and municipal utility district projects, coordinate with experts, manage budgets and client relationships, and mentor other PMs to deliver projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience managing design projects from conception to completion.
• ABET-accredited B.S. degree in an applicable engineering field.
• PE license in California or ability to obtain within 18 months is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee design and technical aspects of projects including engineering design, calculations, reports, permitting and presentations.
• Prepare task order proposals, budgets, and client agreements per state and local agency expectations.
• Coordinate input from subject matter experts across hydraulic, geotechnical, seismic, and hydrology teams.
• Direct and manage project execution with stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and internal groups to meet milestones.
• Mentor staff and develop other project managers.
