GFT in Roseville, CA is seeking Civil/Structural Engineers to support design and construction of critical infrastructure. This hybrid role requires regular office presence in Roseville, CA and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team on dams, water conveyance and related structures.

Join our dams and hydraulics team to innovate in sustainable water infrastructure. Responsibilities include design, analysis, drawings, client meetings, and site inspections up to 30% of time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.
• E.I.T. certification required with ability to obtain P.E. within one year.
• 4+ years of direct civil engineering experience.
• Experience with design software such as Tedds, SAP, AutoCAD, Civil3D.
• Strong communication and written skills; proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex design, analysis, and calculations for concrete/steel structures.
• Assist with construction drawings, reports, specs, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Review shop drawings for contract conformance.
• Attend client meetings and support the project manager.
• Communicate designs with clients and field personnel; assist field inspections up to 30%.
• Support small to medium projects and collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams.
