Chesapeake Technology, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager to own the roadmap for SonarWiz, Fathom, and Fathom WAKE. The role is hands-on, with about a quarter of time spent designing and building small pieces of the product.

You will work with hydrographic surveyors, Navy operators, and AUV manufacturers to translate feedback into actionable specs, run a small team, and align releases with SonarWiz roadmaps and design standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a product manager on a technical B2B product.
• Competent in Figma, with a portfolio of screens or flows you drew yourself.
• Clear writer: specs, release notes and customer emails are a large part of the job.
• Comfortable with technical customers; able to discuss sonar, navigation and coordinate systems.

Responsabilités

• Own the Fathom roadmap: decide what ships each quarter, in what order, and why.
• Turn customer and field feedback into specs engineering can build from, working with hydrographic surveyors, Navy operators and AUV manufacturers.
• Run the product process for a small engineering team plus contractors: user stories, acceptance criteria, bug triage, release reviews and the backlog.
• Plan SonarWiz releases alongside Fathom.
• Design: wireframes, mockups and clickable prototypes in Figma for new Fathom screens, aligned with UI; maintain design system.
