Job summary

Outside Interactive, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Gaia GPS to own vision, strategy, and roadmap for our premier mapping properties. You will influence Gaia GPS, Trailforks, and MapMy by partnering with engineering, marketing, editorial, studios, and product design to create outstanding mapping experiences and drive product success.

You will mentor junior teammates, balance short-term needs with long-term strategy, and define metrics to guide decisions and learning across Outside.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience in consumer apps.
• Experience leading end-to-end product development from inception to deployment.
• Experience owning P&L for business units.
• Strong collaboration with designers and engineers to ship high-quality products.
• Proven ability to translate customer needs into product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own vision, strategy, and roadmap for Gaia GPS mapping properties.
• Guide the mapping platform to enable social, planning, and scalable services.
• Partner with Trailforks founder and leadership to build reusable architecture.
• Understand customer needs and advocate for Outside users.
• Write product briefs and user stories; ship features with cross-functional teams.
• Make prioritization decisions balancing short-term needs with long-term direction.
• Define and own success metrics; evangelize them across the company.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to launch and communicate new features.
• Discover and validate new product opportunities; mentor junior team members.
