Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager / Estimator for a top carpentry contractor in the Mid-Atlantic region. The role leads projects from preconstruction through closeout, with emphasis on estimating accuracy, schedule, budget, and client relationships.

Based in the Middletown Township area, the ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial construction estimating and project management, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and proficiency with MS Office and CM software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating and/or project management experience.
• Experience with healthcare, corporate interiors, life sciences, education, or institutional projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Estimating & Preconstruction planning and cost estimation.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents; prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor proposals; develop budgets and scopes.
• Manage multiple commercial construction projects; develop schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and field personnel; monitor costs and forecasts.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and quality; lead client and team discussions and status updates.
