Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator for commercial projects across the Mid-Atlantic region. The role focuses on takeoffs, bid analysis, and subcontractor pricing from preconstruction through budgeting.

You will analyze costs, prepare competitive estimates, and collaborate with project teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Knowledge of Bluebeam and PROCORE is required, with strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
• 3-8 years of estimation, bidding, and construction management experience.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and PROCORE.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction, blueprint reading, and material take off (MTO).
• Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of profitable contracts.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate estimates.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, and time requirements.
• Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates and bids.
• Conduct material takeoffs (MTO) to determine project requirements.
• Leverage blueprint reading and commercial construction knowledge for estimations.
