Job summary

Helius is seeking a senior product leader to own the data platform: real-time streaming (LaserStream), historical data, RPC infrastructure, APIs, webhooks, and developer tooling. You’ll work embedded with engineering on latency budgets and API ergonomics for traders, wallets, and data platforms.

You’ll prototype against our APIs, write clear specs, and drive pricing and developer experience to scale adoption and revenue in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience on technical, developer-facing products such as streaming/messaging systems, data infrastructure, APIs, market data.
• Engineering experience and working coding ability to prototype against APIs.
• Genuine technical depth: distributed systems, throughput, backpressure, delivery guarantees.
• Crypto experience: built in, worked on, or shipped blockchain ecosystem products.
• Experience serving demanding technical customers (trading fintech latency-sensitive users).
• Track record owning product outcomes: adoption, revenue or retention metrics.
• Strong pricing instincts for usage-based infrastructure products.
• Exceptional written communication for async environments; specs/memos must stand on their own.
• Comfort operating with high autonomy as the primary product voice.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap across the Helius developer platform, balancing customer requests, infrastructure investments, and new product bets.
• Spend real time with customers—trading firms, wallets, indexers—understanding architectures, latency budgets, and applicability of our products.
• Prototype with our APIs and contribute code where fastest to shipping.
• Track competitive landscape and translate into positioning, pricing, and build/kill decisions.
• Define product guarantees: delivery semantics, ordering, SLAs, and trade-offs among performance, cost, and simplicity.
• Write specs and decision memos that give staff-level engineers clear context without prescribing implementation.
• Own pricing and packaging across the platform, including enterprise deals and usage-based models.
• Drive end-to-end launches: positioning, docs, migration guides, changelogs, and customer communications.
• Instrument and track adoption, activation, usage growth, churn signals, latency and revenue.
