Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking a Senior Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in construction observation and materials testing for the Washington, D.C. area.

The role combines project leadership with office management responsibilities, including hiring, mentoring, and developing staff. You will oversee staff and projects, lead business operations such as proposals, invoicing, budgeting, and profitability, and drive growth for the D.C.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction observation and materials testing.
• Experience with testing and inspection of soils, concrete, asphalt, aggregates, and structural steel.
• Experience preparing and/or reviewing field and final reports.
• NICET, WACEL, ICC, and/or ACI certifications preferred.
• Experience coordinating and managing COT/CMT projects.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing technical staff.
• Experience developing and maintaining client relationships and identifying new business opportunities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage current staff and projects; provide project leadership and office leadership, including hiring, training, mentoring, and developing staff.
• Lead the office's business operations: proposal preparation and review, invoicing, budget monitoring, collections, and ensuring project profitability.
