Job summary

Ohio CAT (Columbus) seeks a Project Manager to lead large, complex data center and mission-critical projects in Ohio. The role requires planning, execution, and coordination of resources—engineers, contractors, and customers—to meet deadlines and budgets while ensuring quality throughout the project life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience as a Project Manager or equivalent.
• Power Systems, Data Center/Mission-Critical Applications, Energy Transition, or CAT industry expertise preferred.
• Proficiency in reading engineering specifications and electrical system diagrams.
• Familiarity with modeling tools such as AutoCAD or Inventor and with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management for engine and power systems, including submittals, procurement, construction management, and coordination with field service technicians for start-up.
• Review project documents for compliance with requirements and specs.
• Manage project billing, change orders, and cost tracking.
