Job summary

JSET Automated Technologies seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support data center, controls, and mission-critical infrastructure projects in Columbus, OH. This field-focused role works with Project Managers, Superintendents, field teams, vendors, and customers to keep projects organized and on schedule.

The position offers a clear development path for a long-term project management career, with regional travel as needed and exposure to large-scale data center projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in construction, project coordination, project administration, field operations, or related environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license.
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field.
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with project execution and coordination.
• Track project progress, schedules, action items, and deliverables.
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Coordinate material procurement, deliveries, and logistics.
• Support project budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
• Attend project meetings and communicate project updates.
• Maintain documentation in Procore and other project management systems.
• Coordinate with field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and customers.
• Assist with project closeout and turnover activities.
• Participate in jobsite visits and field coordination efforts.
