Job summary

Laveer Engineering seeks a Senior Project Management Consultant to oversee multiple Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from development through construction, based onsite in Juno Beach, FL, with occasional travel across the US and Canada. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to keep schedules and optimize feasibility.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's in engineering/Construction Management/Finance or Accounting, 6+ years of experience, and PMP plus strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or Finance/Accounting with experience in related engineering and construction of renewable energy projects.
• 6+ years of experience required.
• Experience with electricity markets, renewables and/or battery projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate highly matrixed project development teams to meet project schedules.
• Engage with environmental, regulatory, and land acquisition aspects to identify variables.
• Develop the project's technical scope and improve its financial feasibility.
• Support origination, development, and negotiation of PPA and GIA.
• Coordinate engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction activities.
• Present financial models to executives and manage approvals.
• Source and negotiate critical service contracts (geotechnical, survey, engineering, EPC/PC).
• Travel to project locations and support development with public hearings.
