Delan Associates seeks a Project Manager for Utility-Scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Juno Beach, FL. The role centers on leading advanced technical, financial, and regulatory planning from development through construction readiness, applying engineering and project-management principles to optimize scope, risk, and feasibility.

The PM will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage vendor and regulatory interfaces, and present financial models for executive reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in project management with engineering/economics/construction focus preferred.
• Technical experience with renewable energy projects, especially battery/storage, is a plus.
• PMP certification and Six Sigma experience are highly desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong PM, communication, financial, analytic abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction planning and optimization for utility-scale BESS projects.
• Coordinate matrixed project teams to meet schedules and budgets.
• Engage environmental, regulatory, land, interconnection, and other variables for comprehensive development.
• Develop and optimize technical scope and financial feasibility of projects.
• Support PPA and regulatory negotiations and jurisdictional requirements.
• Coordinate engineering, estimating, and procurement to support financial models.
