Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with focus on engineering, economics, or construction preferred.
• PMP certification and Six Sigma experience highly desired.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong communication, financial, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction planning and optimization for utility-scale BESS projects.
• Coordinate matrixed project development teams to meet schedules.
• Interface with environmental, regulatory, land, interconnection, and other variables.
• Develop and optimize technical scope and financial feasibility.
• Support PPA and GIA negotiations and jurisdictional requirements.
• Coordinate engineering, estimating, and procurement to support financial models.
• Present financial models to executives and manage approvals.
• Source, negotiate, and execute key service contracts.
• Represent E&C on projects and manage data and reporting tools.
• Communicate with leadership, suppliers, regulators, communities, and stakeholders.
• Present progress and risk mitigation in management reviews.
• Ensure smooth handover to Construction Project Manager with executable plan.
