Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) is seeking a Project Manager to oversee construction materials testing and special-inspection projects in the Charlotte area. You will coordinate clients, field teams, and laboratory personnel to ensure timely, within-budget delivery and high technical quality.

The role requires a Civil Engineering background with 5+ years in materials testing, strong communication, and proven project-management success.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering; EIT/PE preferred with NC licensure or comity.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in construction materials testing or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of direct project-management experience.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ICC, IBC, and DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project delivery and supervise engineers, technicians, inspectors, and staff.
• Coordinate testing for soils, concrete, asphalt, masonry, and other materials.
• Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and contract requirements.
• Monitor financial performance, billing, and change orders; liaise with clients.
