Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead CMT and special-inspection projects in the Charlotte area. You will coordinate clients, field teams, and laboratories to ensure proper scoping, staffing, scheduling, execution, documentation, and billing, while maintaining high technical quality.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in related engineering, an EIT or PE licensure, and strong leadership, communication, and financial oversight skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; advanced training in construction materials testing preferred.
• Current EIT certification or PE licensure; NC licensure or comity acceptable.
• 5+ years in construction materials testing, inspections, or geotechnical engineering.
• 2+ years of direct project-management experience in engineering/construction.
• Experience managing multiple projects, scopes, budgets, and clients.
• Knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, ICC, IBC, and DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of CMT and special-inspection projects in Charlotte area.
• Coordinate field technicians, inspectors, lab staff, and contractors for timely delivery.
• Review testing results and reports; QA/QC and final review where authorized.
• Manage project scopes, fees, budgets, schedules, staffing, and contracts.
• Maintain client relationships and support proposals and pursuits.
