Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. (BLE) is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction materials testing and special-inspection projects in the Charlotte metro area. You will coordinate clients, field staff, and laboratories to ensure proper scoping, staffing, scheduling, execution, documentation, and billing.

The role emphasizes strong communication, leadership, and technical delivery, with opportunities for growth within an employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; advanced training in construction materials testing preferred.
• Current EIT certification with ability to obtain PE licensure, or current PE licensure in NC.
• Typically 5+ years in construction materials testing or related engineering consulting.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision and technical support to project engineers and field staff.
• Coordinate testing and inspection services for soils, concrete, asphalt, and other materials.
• Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, staffing, and client communication.
• Monitor project financial performance including budgeting and billing.
• Develop trusted client relationships and support proposals and pursuits.
