Job summary

Perkins Eastman in Pittsburgh seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex College & University and Healthcare projects. You will coordinate design teams, manage budgets, schedules, and client relations, and drive project delivery from proposal through construction.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of PM experience, a Bachelor of Architecture, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills, with willingness to travel. Hybrid work policy applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor of Architecture degree.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Broad spectrum of project types and delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project work plan and schedule development, including fee and budget requirements.
• Multi-task to allow for development of concurrent project work.
• Advocate for the Client's financial and schedule goals for the project.
• Negotiate and develop contractual agreements with Owner and consulting team members.
• Align with Authorities Having Jurisdiction early and proactively.
• Prepare scope and fee proposals of varying complexity.
• Contribute to business development with College & University and Healthcare practice areas.
• Implement quality control and technical assurance protocols.
• Lead the project through all phases including construction.
• Communicate regularly with Operations regarding financial health.
• Establish transparent documentation communication protocols.
• Mentor younger staff within the team.
