Perkins Eastman is seeking a Senior Project Manager based in New York to lead transformative higher education projects across design phases, from visioning through construction. You will manage budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams while maintaining client relationships and design excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree required.
• 10+ years of project management experience on higher education projects.
• Licensed Architect is preferred.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Experience reviewing contracts and developing fee proposals.
• Proficiency in Revit, MS Office and Bluebeam Revu.
• CPHD, LEED and/or WELL accreditations.
• Willingness to travel across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to leading colleges and universities, building long-term client relationships and championing design excellence and sustainability.
• Lead and inspire teams through all phases of design and delivery, from visioning to construction.
• Ensure projects meet or exceed client goals for budget, schedule, and performance.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, planners, consultants, and contractors to deliver innovative learning environments.
• Manage and oversee project budgets, contracts, and schedules while delivering on financial performance objectives.
• Mentor and develop staff, providing guidance and creating opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with firm-wide practice area leaders and principals to support business development and fee proposals, while reviewing and negotiating contracts.
• Leverage Perkins Eastman's global resources and thought leadership to bring new ideas and best practices into every project.
