Job summary

AECOM seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead architecture and engineering projects in the Los Angeles or Orange County offices. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, guide design execution, and engage clients across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field; 10 years of relevant experience including 2 years of leadership.
• Professional licensure required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing design projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage a range of architectural and engineering projects with client leadership and satisfaction.
• Provide design-management leadership in partnership with office design leaders.
• Develop strategies to achieve project delivery, financial performance and risk mitigation.
• Develop and manage positive client relationships and balance expectations with contractual goals.
• Communicate effectively with project participants, staff, consultants, clients, owners, contractors.
• Define and maintain project schedule and staffing requirements.
• Provide supervision of multi-disciplinary project staff to meet targets and standards.
• Manage project delivery and deliverables to ensure high-quality documentation.
• Participate in business development, proposals, and client interviews.
• Mentor junior staff and participate in performance coaching.
• Participate in recruitment and interviewing processes.
