Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Manager-Architecture and Engineering to lead diverse design and construction projects from San Francisco/Oakland in a hybrid role. The candidate will manage scopes, fees, interdisciplinary teams, and client relationships while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates will have a BA/BS in Engineering, 2+ years in A/E, and a Licensed PE. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering from an accredited university with +2 years of relevant experience in the A/E field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Licensed PE is preferred; Civil Engineering background is common but other engineering or architecture backgrounds are acceptable with multidisciplinary understanding.
• Leadership and communication skills to coordinate multi-discipline teams.
• Accountable and self-driven to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a point of contact with a client.
• Preparing scope and fee proposals for mulit-discipline projects.
• Directing professional and technical staff to complete a wide variety of architectural and engineering projects.
• Coordinating internal resources and third parties/subcontractors for execution of projects.
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget while meeting client expectations with high quality.
• Developing and monitoring a detailed project plan and schedule to track progress and identify shortfalls in a timely manner.
• Managing with change management.
• Preparing, coordinating and facilitating project meetings; maintaining the agenda and minutes.
• Tracking and managing finances on projects.
• Leading and supporting projects through the full lifecycle from identification to closeout for development to Project Manager Role.
