Job summary

Cross Resource Group in the New York City area seeks a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in commercial architectural metal and glass construction. You will oversee complex projects from buyout through closeout, managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and vendor coordination while maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 10 years of experience, excellent leadership, and the ability to mentor junior staff while improving project management processes.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience managing commercial architectural glass and metal projects.
• Experience with projects valued from $500K to $10M in NYC.
• Strong coordination with GCs, CMs, architects, and union trades.
• Ability to read architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specs.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, schedules, and deadlines.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple architectural metal and glass projects from buyout through completion.
• Develop and maintain milestone schedules and coordinate logistics.
• Review shop drawings and manage submittals and field measurements.
• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for on-time fabrication and installation.
• Lead client meetings and maintain project documentation.
• Oversee budgets, change orders, RFIs, and cost forecasts.
• Mentor junior project managers and improve PM processes.
