Job summary

United Integrated Services (UIS) is seeking a QA/QC Inspector (Plumbing) to conduct field inspections of plumbing systems across diverse facilities, supporting code compliance, quality assurance, and turnover activities on complex projects. You will review drawings, identify deficiencies, and coordinate with contractors and inspectors to ensure adherence to standards.

The role requires strong attention to detail, field exposure to industrial plumbing systems, and experience with testing,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial/commercial plumbing.
• Experience with large-scale industrial/complex construction projects.
• Experience inspecting PVC/UPVC and metallic piping systems.
• Knowledge of IPC/IBC/IFC/NFPA codes and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily field inspections of plumbing systems and installations.
• Review plans and shop drawings for code compliance.
• Identify non-compliance and document NCRs and quality observations.
• Coordinate with contractors, AHJs, engineers, and project stakeholders.
• Support testing, commissioning, startup, and turnover activities.
• Maintain inspection logs and quality records.
• Mentor less-experienced inspectors when assigned.
