Job summary

United Integrated Services (UIS) seeks a QA/QC Inspector (Fire) to conduct field inspections of fire protection, alarm, suppression, and life-safety systems on industrial and semiconductor projects. This role supports code compliance, QA/QC, acceptance testing, commissioning, startup, and turnover activities.

You will review drawings, document deficiencies, witness testing, and coordinate with contractors, AHJs, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project quality requirements are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience inspecting fire protection, fire alarm, life-safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily field inspections of fire protection, fire alarm, fire suppression, and life-safety systems.
• Review construction drawings and shop drawings for code compliance.
• Identify deficiencies and non-conforming work; issue NCRs and track corrective actions.
• Witness testing and support acceptance testing, commissioning, and turnover.
• Coordinate with contractors, AHJs, engineers, and clients to resolve issues.
