Job summary

United Integrated Services (UIS) is seeking a QA/QC Inspector (Plumbing) to perform field inspections on complex industrial and semiconductor construction projects. You will verify installations, review plans and shop drawings, and document non‑conformances to ensure code compliance and project quality.

The role requires strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and QA/QC processes, with coordination across contractors, AHJs, engineers, and management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial/commercial plumbing.
• Experience inspecting plumbing systems including DW, PCW, ICW, RCW, SD, FD, CD.
• Ability to interpret applicable codes and project requirements.
• Strong documentation and QA/QC experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily field inspections of plumbing systems and installations.
• Inspect domestic water, sanitary waste, vent, storm drainage, and other plumbing systems and piping.
• Review construction drawings, plans, specifications, and shop drawings for compliance.
• Identify non-conforming work and document NCRs and corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records and quality documentation; enter results into relevant systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, AHJs, engineers, and project stakeholders.
• Support testing, commissioning, startup, turnover, and closeout activities.
