Job summary

United Integrated Services (UIS) is seeking a QA/QC Electrical Inspector to perform inspections of electrical installations and materials across commercial, industrial, manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor projects. The role supports quality control, documents deficiencies, and ensures adherence to drawings, codes, and standards.

The position requires at least 3 years in electrical construction or QA/QC, and experience with semiconductor or data center environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of electrical construction, commissioning, QA/QC, inspection, or related experience.
• Commercial or industrial electrical experience required.
• Semiconductor, manufacturing, or data center experience preferred.
• OSHA 10 preferred or to be obtained within 24 months.
• NFPA 70E training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of electrical installations and construction activities.
• Verify installation of conduit, cable tray, raceways, supports, grounding systems, lighting systems, power distribution equipment, and associated electrical infrastructure.
• Perform installation inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and project standards.
• Review electrical construction documents, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and specifications.
• Verify material conformity and proper installation practices.
• Witness continuity testing, insulation resistance testing, and basic electrical testing activities.
• Review and process Notices of Examination (NOEs) per project procedures.
• Document deficiencies and non-conforming work.
• Assist with punch list generation and tracking.
• Verify corrective actions have been completed.
• Maintain electronic inspection records and documentation.
• Participate in quality and coordination meetings.
• Follow all safety and site-specific requirements.

Summary :

The QA/QC Electrical Inspector is responsible for performing inspections of electrical installations, materials, equipment, and construction activities to ensure compliance with approved construction documents, project specifications, applicable codes, and quality requirements. This position works under general supervision and supports quality assurance and quality control activities on commercial, industrial, manufacturing, data center, and semiconductor construction projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify installation of conduit, cable tray, raceways, supports, grounding systems, lighting systems, power distribution equipment, and associated electrical infrastructure.
• Perform installation inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and project standards.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of electrical construction, commissioning, QA/QC, inspection, or related experience.
• Commercial or industrial electrical experience required.
• Semiconductor, manufacturing, or data center experience preferred.

Certifications

• Valid Arizona Driver's License.
• OSHA 10 Preferred.
• ICC Electrical Inspector certification preferred or ability to obtain within 24 months.
• NFPA 70E training preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Working knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70).
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of conduit, cable tray, and power distribution systems.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Additional Project-Specific Requirements

• Ability to work in cleanroom or sub-fab environments.
• Willingness to work extended hours or weekends when required for testing or inspections.
• Must pass background checks, safety orientations, and site-specific training.
• Must comply with confidentiality and photography restrictions on the semiconductor site
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.
