Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a State of Minnesota licensed journey level or master plumber.
• State of Minnesota Plumber License.
• Journey or master level competency card issued by the City of Saint Paul.
• Certificate of competency as a backflow tester within one year of hire.
• A valid Minnesota Class D Driver’s License or equivalent out of state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and report on installations and alterations of plumbing work to assure that approved materials are used, and proper workmanship is performed.
• Issue orders and enforce corrections on non-compliant items.
• Perform tests of plumbing installations, equipment, and materials.
