Job summary

gpac partnered opportunity: an experienced Plumbing Estimator is sought to join a fast-growing mechanical contractor in Columbus, OH. You will estimate a wide range of commercial plumbing projects and help shape preconstruction strategy with direct involvement from company leadership.

Applicants should have 5+ years in commercial plumbing estimating, strong drawing/spec interpretation, and proficiency with Bluebeam, Excel, and estimating software.

Qualifications

5+ years of commercial plumbing estimating experience.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, piping, and related building systems.
Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Experience preparing conceptual budgets, hard bids, negotiated work, and design-build estimates.

Responsibilities

Prepare conceptual budgets and bids for commercial plumbing projects.
Collaborate with operations, preconstruction, and project management to win profitable work.
Lead or contribute to preconstruction strategy and estimating efforts.
Support leadership in growing the estimating department and delivering accurate estimates.
