Job summary

Woolpert in Coral Gables, FL is seeking a Senior Plumbing Engineering Designer to join our MEP/FP team. You will lead the design of plumbing systems, prepare construction documents with Revit and AutoCAD, and coordinate with other disciplines to deliver complex projects from schematic through construction administration.

The role requires deep knowledge of IPC/UPC/IFGC/NFPA and Florida codes, at least 15 years of plumbing experience, strong communication, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Fifteen+ years of plumbing engineering and design experience.
• Deep knowledge of IPC, UPC, IFGC, NFPA and Florida codes and local design requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and generate plumbing system models, plans, and drawings per codes and BIM standards.
• Lead plumbing design for complex projects from schematic through construction administration.
• Coordinate with disciplines, consultants, contractors, and clients; present design approaches.
