We are currently looking for a Senior Plumbing Engineer to join our Engineering department located at our office in Granite City, IL. Our ideal candidate for a Senior Plumbing Engineer will be someone who is a self-starter with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. We are looking for an individual who has a drive for finding innovative solutions and an eagerness to contribute to our ongoing growth and success.

Primary Responsibilities for iENG’s Senior Plumbing Engineer include:

• Leading the planning, coordination, and execution of plumbing engineering tasks for assigned projects.
• Developing plumbing design concepts, including layouts, schematics, and calculations based on project requirements and industry standards.
• Working closely with the project management and virtual design construction teams to ensure proper integration of plumbing systems in overall project plans.
• Conducting technical reviews and providing guidance on plumbing system design, equipment selection, and material specifications.
• Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and proposing resolutions to ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Organizing job-site visits regularly to assess plumbing system installations, addressing construction challenges, and providing support to the team.

• 5+ years of proven experience in plumbing engineering, ideally within the HVAC, piping, or plumbing industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
