Job summary

Spotlock in Folsom, PA seeks an experienced Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to lead surveying projects. The role involves managing projects from planning to final deliverables, overseeing boundary, ALTA/NSPS, and development surveys, and certifying survey plans in line with PA regulations.

You will coordinate with field crews, engineers, and clients, provide technical guidance, interpret deeds and title documents, and assist with proposals, scopes, budgets, and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Professional Land Surveyor license.
• 7+ years of professional land surveying experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and surveying data collection software.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee land surveying projects from planning through deliverables.
• Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, subdivision surveys.
• Review and certify survey plans, plats, and legal descriptions.
• Coordinate surveying activities with field crews, office personnel, engineers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to surveying personnel to ensure accuracy.
• Interpret deeds and title documents to resolve boundary questions.
• Assist with proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with civil engineers on residential, commercial, municipal, and site development projects.
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to growth of surveying services.
