Job summary

Johnson Outdoors Inc. is seeking a Product Lifecycle Management Senior Systems Analyst in Racine, WI. You will lead Windchill implementations, governance, and data integrity across PLM, ERP, CAD/ECAD systems, working with engineering, manufacturing, quality and IT teams.

The role focuses on optimizing PLM processes, system integrations, data migration, and user enablement while supporting enterprise transformation initiatives in a dynamic outdoor recreation environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, computer science, business systems or equivalent.
Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of experience supporting enterprise applications, PLM systems, engineering systems, product data platforms, or business transformation initiatives.
Strong understanding of PLM concepts, including product structures, parts, documents, BOMs, engineering change management, lifecycle states, version control, workflow, release processes, and product data governance.
Working knowledge of PTC Windchill capabilities, configuration concepts, user roles, access control, workflows, object types, attributes, templates, and common support activities.
Ability to flex between functional process support and technical application support, with enough business process understanding to advise users and enough technical depth to troubleshoot, document, and coordinate resolution of system issues.

Responsibilities

Provides functional and technical guidance for PLM platform, including configuration, data structures, workflows, security, user roles and integrations.
Partners with business process owners, engineering leaders, IT teams, and external partners to translate needs into scalable PLM solutions.
Identifies opportunities to extend PLM capabilities to broader digital transformation priorities.
Supports Windchill implementation and sustainment, including requirements validation, design input, testing, data readiness, issue resolution, go-live readiness, and stabilization.
Manages Windchill access control, environment support, upgrade planning, documentation, and enhancements in collaboration with IT and engineering teams.
Coordinates with vendors and internal teams to ensure PLM supports enterprise product lifecycle processes and governance.
Drives root cause analysis of recurring issues and proposes improvements to reduce risk and improve value.
