Job summary

Generac is seeking a Senior PLM Process Adoption Lead in Waukesha to optimize CAD/PLM systems across the engineering organization. You will drive process improvements, architect and develop PLM solutions, and mentor staff while coordinating global releases and training.

The role reports to the Director of Global Engineering Systems and requires extensive Windchill and CAD/PLM experience, with travel as needed to multiple sites. A transformational implementer mindset is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, CS, or Information Systems with 10 years in a similar role.
Strong Windchill experience and CAD/PLM system administration.
Experience with global product releases across multiple divisions.
Ability to deliver technical training and present to diverse audiences.
Proven cross-functional collaboration and project management.

Responsibilities

Analyze engineering system information to plan and deliver guides and online help integrated into the product.
Implement and support tools and systems for CAD data and engineering documentation management.
Work with engineering teams to implement CAD/PLM workflows and process improvements.
Coordinate system upgrades and training programs; develop technical documentation for new tools.
Mentor staff and contribute to knowledge sharing within the engineering systems team.
