Job summary

Resource Informatics Group, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst for an onsite role focused on manufacturing processes and PLM. You will analyze current workflows, capture business needs, and design future-state processes aligned with PLM capabilities.

The role requires translating requirements into actionable system specifications, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and supporting implementation activities. Local candidates or relocation readiness preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of manufacturing and product lifecycle processes.
• Exposure to PLM systems and concepts (product data, BOM, change management).
• Strong business process analysis and current-state/future-state design skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable system requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to identify, define, and document business requirements across PLM systems.
• Analyze current manufacturing processes, system capabilities, workflows, and pain points to identify improvement opportunities.
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, process flows, and user stories.
• Assess the current PLM landscape and identify gaps against business and operational requirements.
• Develop and recommend future-state business process designs aligned with manufacturing and product lifecycle objectives.
• Facilitate workshops with business users, process owners, and technology teams to validate requirements and proposed solutions.
• Support solution evaluation, process improvement, testing, and implementation activities.
• Ensure alignment between business processes, PLM capabilities, and broader enterprise systems.
