Job summary

IREN in San Francisco, CA, seeks a Senior Manager of PLM to own the PLM strategy for its AI infrastructure hardware portfolio. You will lead platform selection, configure and deploy PLM, and establish part/product/document numbering and master data standards across engineering, sourcing, and finance.

You will build a high-performing PLM team, manage change processes, and drive KPIs for BOM accuracy and data quality, enabling a single source of truth for data as the data-center build-out scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in product lifecycle management, configuration management, or engineering data management for complex electromechanical hardware.
• Proven experience leading PLM platform selection and implementation (Arena, Teamcenter, Windchill, Oracle Agile, Duro, or Propel).
• Strong technical understanding of BOM structures (EBOM, MBOM, and service BOMs) and master data governance.
• Hands-on experience managing engineering and product change processes (ECR/ECN/ECO, PCN, deviations, and waivers).
• Deep understanding of Part Master content requirements and supplier data.
• Experience with rack-scale compute hardware and working with OEM/ODM partners on BOM structures and data.

Responsibilities

• Own the PLM strategy and roadmap for IREN's AI infrastructure hardware portfolio, defining how product data is created, controlled, released, and consumed across the product lifecycle.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of PLM platform software, defining business requirements, driving vendor assessments and demonstrations, and recommending the solution to leadership.
• Configure and deploy the PLM solution to meet business needs, including workflows, roles and permissions, item and BOM structures, and integrations with ERP/CAD systems.
• Define and govern part numbering, product numbering, document numbering, and related naming standards for use across IREN.
• Establish and maintain Master Data definitions, including Part Master and Product Master attributes, data ownership, and data quality rules.
• Build and maintain Bills of Materials throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and revision control.
• Manage the engineering change process (ECRs/ECNs/ECOs) and PCNs, including change control board cadence and communication to teams and suppliers.
• Lead a PLM team of PLM Coordinators and establish governance cadences for a scaling hardware portfolio.
• Partner with Hardware Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, Operations, and Finance to ensure a single source of truth for product data.
• Develop PLM documentation, training, and user adoption programs.
• Define and report PLM KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as escalation point for product data integrity issues and PLM system support.
