Job summary

Novaspect, Inc. seeks a PLC Subject Matter Expert to lead PLC modernization, migration projects, and hands-on technical delivery across Emerson, GE Fanuc, and Rockwell platforms. You will engage customers, shape solutions, and drive measurable operational outcomes while guiding project teams from discovery to closeout.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, scalable standards, and collaboration with sales, engineering, and service coordination. Based in Minnesota, travel up to 35% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, controls, automation, or related engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in PLC programming, integration, field troubleshooting, and project delivery.
• Expert proficiency with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell platforms and Studio 5000/RSLogix 5000.
• HMI/SCADA configuration experience including FactoryTalk View; Movicon/Beijer/Maple exposure beneficial.
• Experience with PLC-to-DCS or DeltaV migrations or integrations.

Responsibilities

• Engage customer stakeholders to identify PLC modernization, migration, and lifecycle-service opportunities.
• Lead PLC-to-DeltaV migrations and integrations; define solution approaches and execution strategies.
• Configure and support HMI/SCADA platforms with effective graphics and operator workflows.
• Lead or participate in PLC project delivery from design to startup and acceptance.
• Develop standardized assessment and migration roadmaps; support proposal development and risk review.
