Job summary

Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead automation initiatives in Addison, TX. You will design and commission PLC/DCS/HMI systems, mentor junior engineers, and drive project profitability.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in industrial automation, 2–3 years with Emerson DeltaV, and PM experience on multi-million dollar projects. Travel up to local sites is expected in this full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Control Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in industrial automation (PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS/DeltaV).
• 2–3 years minimum with Emerson DeltaV platform.
• PM experience for multi-million dollar projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement control system architectures (PLC, DCS, HMI/SCADA).
• Lead project budgeting, scheduling, and profitability.
• Commission on-site and troubleshoot issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams.
• Manage client relationships and business opportunities.
