Amcor is seeking an Automation Controls Technician to maintain instrumentation and control systems across production lines. You will implement process monitoring, SCADA interfaces, and networked controls, providing guidance for installation, diagnostics, and upgrades while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree in automation with 5–10 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, and have hands-on expertise with PLCs, SCADA, HMI, drives, and Ethernet

Qualifications

• Associates degree in PLCs, Robotics, Automation or similar.
• 5–10 years in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
• Plastic manufacturing tech experience preferred.
• Experience with SCADA, PLCs, HMI, Drives, Network Switches/Routers, and Radio devices.
• Strong troubleshooting and project management skills.

Responsabilités

• Support and maintain Automation systems and PLC/SCADA equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs (Allen Bradley/Siemens).
• Assist with electrical system installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with plant personnel on SCADA implementation and controls design.
• Maintain system documentation and interfaces.
