Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation, through Automated Logic, seeks a Senior PLC/SCADA Controls Engineer to lead data center automation projects. The role focuses on Ignition SCADA integration with Rockwell PLCs, along with design of scalable control architectures for chiller and pumping systems.

You will coordinate with vendors, develop reliable communication strategies, and mentor junior engineers to ensure robust system performance across single and multi-site deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Strong automation and control systems knowledge.
• Experience with data center SCADA platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of Ignition-based data center SCADA platforms integrated with Rockwell PLC control systems.
• Develop PLC applications using Rockwell platforms including ControlLogix and CompactLogix.
• Configure and troubleshoot industrial Ethernet networks (EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP).
• Coordinate with vendors to validate communications and operational sequences.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers.
