Job summary

Kiewit’s Industrial & Water markets are experiencing rapid growth across North America, and we’re expanding our team with Senior PLC Programmers who want to lead, innovate, and build systems that actually get constructed. This is a high‑impact role for engineers who thrive in EPC environments and want to shape automation and instrumentation strategies behind complex facilities.

You’ll work across design phases from feasibility through turnover, supporting Data Centers, Water/Wastewater, Mineral

Qualifications

• 5+ years on multidisciplinary Industrial projects as a PLC Programmer.
• Rockwell Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk ME/SE experience.
• OT controls networks with security, Cisco/Rockwell switches preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write PLC programs using IEC 61131 languages (Ladder, FBD, SFC, ST).
• Design HMI/SCADA screens from P&IDs or PFDs.
• Test Control System programs with simulations and troubleshoot faults.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with project teams and end users.
