Job summary

ABB is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to inspect, troubleshoot, adjust, redesign, repair and install equipment across facilities. The role requires strong manual and technical abilities and the ability to analyze complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.

You will support maintenance staff, interpret plans, and comply with ISO/HSE standards while delivering reliable service. Bilingual English/Spanish communication is valued.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree in electronic or electrical technology (PR/EU preferred).
• Minimum 3 years in a similar role.
• Licensure as Electrician preferred; knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.
• Good English and Spanish communication.
• Compliance with safety and ISO/HSE standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance inspections including troubleshooting, adjustments, redesigns, repairs and installation of equipment.
• Provide technical support to maintenance staff.
• Ensure housekeeping and safe operation; report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Follow supervisor's assignments and company policies.
