Job summary
Sikich is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to design and maintain an automated Playwright framework within an Agile DevOps team. You will be the sole QA automation resource, collaborating with developers, business analysts, and DevOps to deliver high-quality IT solutions.
You will independently design, script, run, and debug Playwright tests, ensuring robust automation without AI assistance. Strong knowledge of web tech and debugging is essential, with a focus on scalable, maintainable
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Playwright UI/E2E test automation experience.
- Experience with Agile DevOps and Azure DevOps.
- Design scalable automation frameworks with Page Object Model.
Responsibilities
- Assess existing test processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Design reusable automation components within the framework.
- Create test cases, scripts and test suites from user stories.
- Collaborate with developers and BAs on test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Implement data-driven automation using external data sources.
- Execute scripts, log issues, and support issue resolution.
- Support test automation planning and CI/CD integration.
- Apply regression, smoke, data integrity and security tests.
- Ensure test isolation and environment configuration.
- Work with Git workflows and maintain code quality.
