Job summary

SpaceX in Bastrop, TX is seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer for Platform Infrastructure to own and scale manufacturing platform infrastructure across Starship, Starlink, Starshield, and Terafab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of relevant experience in SRE/DevOps.
• 3+ years of Python experience with Linux systems.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and production-grade tooling.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, upgrade, operate, maintain, and scale compute/storage/networking for manufacturing systems.
• Manage infrastructure as code and use observability to monitor platform health.
• Design for reliability, remove bottlenecks, and plan capacity and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with software engineers and site teams to build maintainable systems.
• Participate in on-call, deployments, and cross-site reliability improvements.
