Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer for Platform Infrastructure to own reliability, scalability, and performance across Starship, Starlink, Starshield, and Terafab systems.

You will deploy, upgrade, and operate critical manufacturing infrastructure, using Terraform/Ansible, Docker/Kubernetes, and observability tools. On-call travel to Hawthorne, Redmond, Cape Canaveral, and Starbase is required.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/engineering or 7+ years of SRE/DevOps experience in lieu of a degree.
• Strong Python and Linux fundamentals with production systems.
• Experience with IaC, containers, and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and scale compute/storage/networking across manufacturing platforms.
• Manage infrastructure as code and monitor system health end-to-end.
• Design for reliability, reduce toil, and prevent incidents.
• Collaborate with software, manufacturing teams, and site staff.
