Job summary

NorthMark Strategies LLC is seeking a Senior Platform Security Engineer to secure HPC and cloud infrastructure. You will lead vulnerability management, implement real-time monitoring, and integrate security into CI/CD and IaC workflows.

Collaborate with Platform Engineering and DevOps to embed threat detection across bare-metal to cloud services, ensuring a security-first culture and resilient infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in security engineering with a focus on platform/infrastructure/security
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tooling and real-time monitoring platforms
• Experience securing container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes/OpenStack) and cloud envs (AWS/Azure)
• Proficiency in Linux and IaC workflows; scripting in Python/Bash/Go

Responsibilities

• Own design and operation of vulnerability management across the platform engineering stack
• Implement and tune real-time security monitoring and threat detection tooling
• Integrate security scanning and vulnerability assessment into CI/CD pipelines and IaC workflows
• Lead vulnerability triage and prioritization for timely remediation
• Conduct platform-level security assessments and threat modelling
• Develop automation to continuously assess security posture
• Improve platform security practices, tooling, and processes
