Job summary

GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a Senior Platform Security Engineer to secure engineering platforms, infrastructure, and software supply chains in a large HPC/cloud environment. The role partners with Platform Engineering, DevOps, Security Operations, and infrastructure teams to detect, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities to avoid operational risk.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in security engineering with platform/infrastructure focus.
• Hands-on vulnerability management and security monitoring experience.
• Experience securing Kubernetes, OpenStack, and cloud environments.
• Ability to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Own and mature the vulnerability management program across platforms and clouds.
• Identify, assess, prioritize, and drive remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Lead vulnerability triage using risk-based prioritization and impact.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure timely remediation of high-priority risks.
• Conduct platform security assessments and threat modeling across environments.
• Implement real-time security monitoring and automate detection workflows.
• Develop automation to continuously assess platform security posture.
• Integrate security scanning and policy enforcement into pipelines.
