Job summary

Anduril Industries Australia is seeking a senior infrastructure and reliability engineer to own a service end‑to‑end, spanning design, implementation and sustainment across cloud‑native and classified on‑prem environments. You will drive reliability baselines, automation and cross‑discipline collaboration with software and maritime engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Around eight+ years in infrastructure, reliability, platform or DevOps roles with practical ownership.
• Experience as the technical owner of a service or platform (requirements, roadmap, design, implementation, sustainment).
• Deep multi-layer experience across the stack with real operations knowledge.
• Fluent scripting and automation in Python, Bash or Go creating reusable tooling.
• Strong systems-design judgement for operability, security baselines and cost/scaling trade-offs.
• Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Australian citizen able to obtain and maintain NV2 security clearance (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Be the technical owner of a service or platform end-to-end: requirements, roadmap, design and sustainment.
• Design operation-focused systems with failure modes, observability and capacity planning.
• Create automation and tooling that others will adopt (Python, Bash, Go).
• Diagnose and isolate faults across infrastructure-as-code and observability layers.
• Work across cloud-native (AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes) and on-premises (Windows, AD, VMware, air-gapped).
• Carry ISM/PSPF accreditation work for the service you own.
• Partner with software, autonomy and maritime engineering teams as a reliability advisor.
