Job summary

Anduril Industries’ Australia Corporate Technology team seeks an infrastructure and reliability engineer. You will own end-to-end workstreams, automate with Python/Bash/Go, and extend Terraform IaC across AWS, Kubernetes, Windows and Linux environments.

You’ll operate in both cloud-native and air-gapped on-premises settings, applying secure baselines within a PSPF/ISM framework and collaborating with engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years running infrastructure, cloud operations, or Defence/MSP-infrastructure environments.
• Scripting and automation in Python/Bash/Go with error handling.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) in production.
• Breadth across cloud/OS/containers/CI/CD; strong networking knowledge.
• Independent worker with track record of owning a work item end-to-end.
• Australian citizen, able to obtain and maintain an Australian NV2 security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own a workstream end-to-end (CI/CD, observability, or environment-build automation).
• Write automation in Python, Bash or Go to reduce toil and maintain health of systems.
• Build and extend infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and diagnose issues to root cause.
• Work across the stack: AWS, Kubernetes/Docker, Linux/Windows, networking; rotate focus areas ~6 months.
• Operate in cloud-native and on-premises (Windows, Active Directory, VMware), including air-gapped networks.
• Apply secure configurations within ISM/PSPF accreditation framework.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and bring new members up to speed.
